Principal Consultant Marnie Green’s passion is guiding public sector leaders through their unique workplace challenges. Her firm, Management Education Group, Inc., provides valuable step-by-step programs and facilitation services that create more confident leaders. As a veteran human resource developer in the public arena, Green promises that participants will walk away from her programs with practical ideas and skills to immediately boost their effectiveness.

Green is the author of Painless Performance Evaluations: A Practical Approach to Managing Day-to-Day Employee Performance, published by Pearson/Prentice Hall. The book has been honored with a Glyph Award for Best Business/Career Book and was a finalist in the management category of the Best Books USA Awards.

Serving a Diverse Range of Public Agencies

Management Education Group serves a diverse range of public agencies including the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, the State of Alaska, the County of San Diego, the cities of Las Vegas, San Jose and Honolulu, and various special districts and authorities including Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and West Basin Municipal Water District. In collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Health, Green served on an international team to create a system-wide change program for the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

Uniquely Qualified

Green earned her Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management and Master’s degree in Business Administration-Finance at Arizona State University. She is a graduate of Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government’s Art and Practice of Leadership Development program.

Active in several professional associations, Green is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the National Speakers Association, and has served on numerous boards and committees for the International Public Management Association for Human Resources. She is a frequent speaker at local, national and international conferences on workforce-related issues including Public Sector Leadership Development, Recruiting and Retaining Top Talent, The Government Workforce of the Future, and Employee Performance Management.

Driven in Work and Play

In addition to serving public agencies nationwide, Green’s personal accomplishments include reaching the top of Africa’s highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro, circumnavigating Western Europe’s highest mountain, Mt. Blanc, and most recently riding portions of the Tour de France.
