They Said it Couldn’t Be Done – February 2011 Idea Contest
This month’s E-Tip focused on the importance of trying new things, even though others say it can’t be done. In the public sector we hear a lot of, “we can’t do that here.” I’m looking for projects, policies, approaches that others said “can’t be done.” Tell me what the idea is and how you overcame the doubters. We know there is innovative, risk taking going on in public agencies across the country. Share your successes!

Motivate without Money Contest
How do you keep your employees motivated, excited, and engaged when you have limited resources? Recognition budgets are often the first thing on the chopping block, but the need to acknowledge the good works of employees never goes away.
